JD 7520

A while back, I bought a JD 7520.Have been using it for disk ripping, chiseling,etc. The rear main seal was leaking, so a neighbor and I split it and repaired the engine clutch while apart. Works good now. I'm wondering about the reliability of the 531c.i. vs. the problem-prone 619. Mine is stone stock, and does all I ask of it. My only complaint is the noise-seems the gear noise and vibration travel up the roll-bar supports. Kinda like sitting in a big tuning fork for hours on end. I've run many 4020s, 4320s, and 4620s and none were this loud. I'm wondering if any old plowjockeys from the 1970s have any suggestions for silence or other tips for keeping this old dinosaur running.
