Old truck was a 1977 Ford, with a 5 speed. New one is a cummins, with automatic. Doesn't come close to the old detroit, as far as performance. Lucky if you hit 60 mph in the same 10 block stetch. Only problem with that run, was the Asst. Chief was in the second seat. Nearly ran me out of air laying on the air horn. Call came in at 12:05, so also had noon hour traffic to deal with. Took it down the left lane all the way on US Hwy. 14 in Waseca, MN.
