Ford 3055

I am thinking of purchasing a 1973 Ford 3055. This is the first tractor of this model identification I have ever seen. However, I have been told that this is a tractor from across the big water in Europe.
I would like anyone's input on wether or not I should purchase said tractor. It appears to be in fairly good condition. I like the tractor's configuration and size. But, I have not met anyone who has had any dealings with this model.
