We did the same with old JD's with rollamatic. Made out of a wagon tongue that bolted to the front of the rollamatic, with a safety chain up to the frame. This allowed the tractor to be steered like a wagon. Worked ok at slow speed, and always left the trailing tractor running at half throttle for lubrication.
