Not with a tractor I have not. HOWEVER, I did stuff a Buick 231 (bored over .060) with 3 spd auto tranny into a 1972 Triumph Spitfire. Molded the hood to look like the old Chevy Cowl Induction for more cooling. That thing would scream!!! Few things to consider: a) Where is your center of gravity - I had to relocate battery to reat to balance out the car. b) Make sure radiator is higher than block otherwise the block will not be filled with coolant. If not consider cutting a hose and inserting a flush kit "T" to fill block. No amount of electric/thermostat fans will keep it cool. BTW used Mercedes/Benz radiator and fans from junk yard work GREAT! c) Review your suspension components i.e. spindles to see if any "beefing" up is needed due to extra weight of the motor. d) Review your exhaust routing? May have to buy some stock headers and "customize" them to fit. e) Have FUN no matter how exasperating it will be at times. PS - I still have the car but my wife calls it the "Black B_tch!" given the amount of time, energy and money it took to make it functional. Good Luck!
