Had one once, think I still got the instructions somewhere. The orange fused wire is a constant hot. Can be spliced into any where that is hot even when the key is off. If you want to use the radio when the truck is off, hook the red and orange together. Only thing is you have to remember to turn the radio off seperate from the vehichle. Forgot a couple of times myself and had to get a jump. Kinda embarrasing!
