The answer is NO, SAME is phaseing out all of the air cooled diesels, just like Deutz is also doing. The reason is, they need to meet new emision standards, and it's a lot easier to do that with water cooled engines! :>( SAME was never out of business, and has been building tractors since 1927 when Francesco Cassani developed the world's first farming tractor powered by a diesel engine. It was a two cylinder 12.7 litre horizontal propulsion unit with 40 HP at speed of 450 rpm. Check out the SAME history for more info, and pictures. Robert
