I have a '92 Dodge 3/4 ton Cummins with auto with 326,000 miles on it. No trouble at all either with engine or tranny. Change oil every 3000 miles, air filter every 6 months, fuel filter every 6 months, serpentine belt every 60,000 miles, change tranny fluid and adjust bands every 20,000. Good maintenance=good performance. The Cummins is one fine engine. Also no trouble with brakes at all, either.
