CH Let us know what brand it is ,if its a J.D.then get paint from them if you have a dealer near , or you can get N.A.P.A.to mix you up about a gallon if its a larger tractor or about 1/2 gal. on lets say a cub, also you can find some primer thats specially made to put back on where you have cleaned rusty metal. Bondo makes some tubes of filler putty that you can apply that will fill the pit holes in metal. I brushed and sanded on a John Deere hood & grille until I got tired and then I took it to a sandblaster ( they can get to close places where you can't ) good luck on your project!
