Leyland 384 CAV injector Pump help needed

Just bougth this tractor and it really misses badly when when reved. At low idle it runs ok but does burn some oil.Blueish smoke. When reved and missing it blows alot more smoke and it's darker, brownish grey. Also there seems to be diesel fuel in the motor oil and diesel fuel in the injector pumps oil compartment. When I checked the level plug on the side of it diesel came out. I can't afford to spend $1000 on a rebuild right now for the injector pump. Anyone have any ideas,service manuals or knowledge in general to share with me would be great. Also, has anyone converted to a rotary pump? I see them on ebay alot in new,rebuilt and used condition and they bring alot less than the cost of getting mine rebuilt. Thanks for any help and info. LB
