I think it is a scam

Recently I posted a 263 gas engine for sale at YT I got a couple of emails from this guy regarding condition and price. Today asked if I would take a cashiers check. I said OK. His last email said a guy would send me a cashiers check, me cash it keep the 5oo.oo for the engine and an extra 100.00 for my trouble then send the balance to his agent in United Kingdom My first time at selling on YT. What do you guys think?
