I appreciate your comments. The deal would work out about like this: $2200 for the woods chipper, rhino brush hog, rhino hopper-spreader, rhino auger. I figure I can sell the bush hog, spreader, and auger for at least $400 each, which means I'd be getting the chipper for $1000. This seems like a reasonable deal to me. The reality is, I'm not about to rent a chipper, ever. Just not gonna happen. My time is too valuable to fool around with driving to a rental place, driving it back, and returning. So, having a chipper on the property will be a real nice thing. Maybe I'll find a deal someday on a beefier chipper, but from what I've seen, these always bring a hefty sum.
