If I were to walk up to your tractor I would look for round covers (about3" dia) with a square area (about 1.5") for the wrench to fit. These covers would be up high on the castings. Probably later on, and with the larger tractors Ford used a common sump for the 3 main functions so you may only find one. You'll know it when you see it because it (they) just look like something you remove and install fluid. Most gear boxes that run on fluid only have it part way to half way up the housing. So for a level indicator, either there is a dipstick or half way down the side of the housing will be a 3/8 (thereabouts) pipe plug just sitting there screwed into the flat side of the casting. The fill level is when fluid seeps out this hole when you pull the plug on level ground. My 2c Mark
