I have heard alot of complaints with the 6.0 diesel being an unreliable headache. it's my understanding that the ECM programming has a glitch or something that causes the engine base to fill up full of fuel and destroy the crankshaft due to the oil being diluted by the fuel. I have heard ford has had to buy back some of these engines after even reprogramming the ECM wasn't working because the customer would be dragging the truck back into the shop a short time later with the same problem all over again. I haven't heard too much about it lately though, so maybe ford finally got it straightened out?. thanks
