Not current? I haven't even graduated to a 6.5 yet. I'm still driving three trucks with 6.2s and love them. My highest mileage vehicle, 1987 3/4 Suburban, had 470,000 miles on it, and the engine has never been apart. Can't say that for the rest of it, though.
I heard the U.S. military has another company making the 6.5s to keep up with demand in the Humvees.

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation.
