The Mayflower boy near me carried his 2002 Mayflower over in Houston and had it hotted up to some ungodly hoss power. I think it was like 350hp. About 3 weeks after he had it chipped they towed him back 200 miles to Cummins with a busted piston. Cummins said they would fix it alright
but the warranty would not cover it. We never had these 2000 to 2002 F350 here re-chipped either. If we wanted bigger motors we would have bought bigger Fords. I drive a 91 F350 7.3 non-turbo as my daily driver. In 350,000+ miles all I have done is 1 set of crank bearings, worked the heads @ about 250,000, and oil changes @ 4000-4500 mile. It aint never had the injectors or injector pump rebuilt yet. At about 100,000 I did carry the pump in and had steel gears put in it but that's all she's had.
