861 loader

What are the three taped holes on each side of the transmission ,toward the front used for? Could they be used to mount a lite weight loader? My 861D has power steering. I dont want a regular heavy size loader. I plan on a small unit with easy off brackets Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks Dave.
