I don't know why they make standard drills. I have both a Milwaukee 1/2" straight and 1/2" angle drill. I only use the angle drill. It drills straighter and the control is much better. I think they are safer as well. I bought mine for $40 at a flee market. eBay probably has a bunch of them.
