I have the same machine. What is wrong with your old engine?? I have had good luck fixing mine, found a good supply of parts, etc... A vh 4 will replace it and might be easier to find. Problem is going to be finding a tapered crank for the clutch. You might want to consider a more modern engine and modify clutch to crank arrangment. Buddys skidsteer services in Topeka is a good start. let me know if you can't find him on the internet and I will dig up my information on him. He knows a lot about this tractor, has a lot of parts, including engines.
