Jonathan, I had a similar experience with an old motorcycle a passerby saw under my shed. I told him it wasn't in running condition and probably never would be. He had to have it as-is where-is. A couple of days later he wanted me to pay for some repairs and also knock off $100. I said to bring it back and I'd give him his money. He brought it back with the turn signal arms bent, the handle bar bent and scratches where it had none before. I was true to my word and gave him a refund and asked him to never darken my door again.
