I've used regular pasenger tires on the trailers for a number of years and have been pleased with how they handled, lasted, etc. On the recommendation of my tireman I went to a trailer tire two years ago and haven't regretted it. I now have them on the flatbed (8k rated)and on both horse trailers. The tires seem to track better both with and without a load, than in the past so I'll most likely stay with using them. When the trailers are going to sit for a long time, I usually try to raise them off the ground, hit them with some Armour-All, and cover them. Don't know if that really does any good or not, but I feel a little better doing it.
