88 has independent PTO. Controlled with a convenient lever beside seat. I preferred it to Allis two clutch system. The one advantage of Allis is that if you ingest a rock or something you can stop everything real fast with the foot clutch. With the Oliver the PTO keeps running until you disengage it with the lever. Pretty much the same as new tractors today except the lever is usually much smaller on today's tractors.
