Alan, Why do you think its important to "win them over" in the first place. If you feel you have a better tractor than its green counterpart, that should be enough. You have no more reason to defend your decision to buy a red tractor than your friends do because they bought a green one. If your 1486 does the work for which you bought it, and performs to your satisfaction, that is reason enough. If your friends and neighbors wish to challenge that point, just invite them to bring their John Deeres to your place and try to do what you do with your 1486 International. The least that can happen is you get some free work done. Think Tom Sawyer.
