A 50 # block of dry ice costs about 15 bucks at a local ice house. Also, if you have a CO2 cylinder, it only costs about 12 bucks to fill a 50# tank. The ice house makes the dry ice from compressed CO2, so you could just make the stuff yourself. I would think a tank full of C02 would cool the sleeves down real nice. I seem to recall that dry ice is around -150 F, which is kinda cold. I used to work at Pratt and Whitney. The would put a drive shaft into a chest of dry ice, and heat a turbine up in an hot oil bath. Then they would kinda stick the turbine onto the shaft and there it would stay. SOOOooo, the cold in a can stuff is a good idea, but compressed CO2 would be cheaper
