I have done this many times. I think a landscape box works best. When I used My blade, I used it straight and only angled it to move the stone to the lower spots. Some weight would help, depending on how hard packed the drive is. You will get a MUCH better job if the surface is wet. I would always pack the surface with my tires by running back and forth several times. What helps the drive more then anything, after it is finished, is to not travel in the same tracks day after day. Use the whole surface
