You may be correct, but that's not what the dealer told me. I was told the mower was available with a heavier gearbox, but otherwise the higher priced mower would be the same.
To be honest, I've been using Brush-hog type mowers for years and never had these kind of problems before - so I guess I assumed that they all had a certain level of "usability" designed into them. As far as what I've experienced, the King Cutter as sold to me MUST be modified to be used sucessfully.
