I agree with Ron. You could probably buy one about as cheap as rebuilding one (if you did it right). If you buy one you will get a warranty with it also. In my opinion a 350 Chevy is one of the most durable engines ever made. We have got one in a one tone 2wd and it pulls our JD 4020 just fine. I aagree with you one the prices of a good used truck.
