Yes new truck prices are insane and most used ones (4 years or less). If you look around and take your time you should find some thing good. A year ago in Febuary i bought a 90 F250 regular cab for $4500.00 and ended up putting another $5500.00 into it, bought it form a brother inlaw of a good friend (friends word is all I needed and thought that that type of honesty ran inthe family). Found out later that my friend doesn't have dealing with him, Should of asked first and bought later. Replaced the whole power train except the motor. My son likes the truck and used it all the time. In Feb of this year I went to wire up my nephew's basment and had some spare time ti kill as it was not read for electrical. Found a bargan finder and ended up buying a 91 F250 supper cab diesel for $3000.00. Replced the front rotors, pads, rear drums, shoes, e brake cables, rear cyclindes, all shocks, 2 glow plugs and front fuel take for $800.00. Did the work my self. I have put over 4500 miles on it since and no problems.
