Robert, Sorry to hear about your losses. You have a lifetime of work and memories and one of these storms comes by and in a split second make history out of it and sometimes you too. At least you folks got out with your skin. We have cellars in N. Texas too but the problem is when to use it. Our storms come in at night and you can't see anything....thank goodness for the weather channel and internet radar pics. Don't want to sit in the cellar when there is a nice bed to sleep in in the house. Course if you knew a storm was going to reduce your house to kindling you would jump at the chance.
