Are you digging with an auger and want the down pressure? or do you need it for the scaper blade? You can get down pressure by rigging a hydrolic ram or buying an auger with the brackets in place for a ram. IH utilities (which are now the Mahindras if you want to buy new...I wouldn't) are great little tractors. Plenty of power, especially the diesels, easy to handle and tougher than nails. Parts are every where, what I can't find at IH Case or Mahindra parts departments, NAPA carries. I just got a set of belts for a Super A from NAPA, IH Case was out of them. Go figure. My B 414 has live PTO, three point hitch with draft control and hydrolics added at the factory.
Handles a 6' rotary cutter, 6' blade, round bales, dragging stuff, and sips diesel at about a half gallon an hour. Not to shabby.
