I had my Chevy Alternater rebuilt when I restored my IH350U last year. When the shop found out it was for a tractor, they put in a 1 wire system designed especially for tractors. Starts charging at lower rpm and more vibration and dust resistant. Cost me a whopping $5 extra. ($45 total) Well worth the money. Ran the one wire to the ammeter terminal. Wiring finished. Works perfectly.
