I don't think anyone was implying that you are a drinker or an idiot for that matter. You asked for some advice and you got some of the best advice that has responded so far. Even if you do not drink and are safety conscious, what Ron was saying is that if you are snowmobiling, you are going to have to contend with the crazies out there, maybe even in your own group if you hook up with some other guys since snowmobiling by yourself isn't quite as much fun. A lot of innocent drivers on our highways are killed every day even though they don't drink nor are they crazy, they just happen to be driving.
