I have had really good luck with some stuf called Rhuli-Jel. It is in a tube and is clear but it sure stops the itching and sppeds the healing. Dad had it so bad one time he literally tried everything including embalming fluid ( Someone saifd it would work sooooo.....) he got the Rhuli_Jel and cleared it up in a couple of days.
