Elevator charges 3 cents a bu locally per month, so 1-2 cents a month plus pay for electric & gas used...... Starting point, adjust for features & good or bad condition. Many have gone to a penny per month per bu capacity for 8 months (assumed useage), no matter how much or how long it is used - or they sit empty, only a small pile in it on bumper crop years. Easier to charge a flat rate & everyone knows the costs/ incomes. Add the elec & gas used. They sell fairly cheap as most of the cost is in the concrete & moving & fixing what's not right. Maybe $500, over $1000 if the stir/ drying part is in really good shape - generally they are not. --->Paul
