O/T- Trailers

I have been shopping for a heavy duty flatbed gooseneck trailer for a few months now, I have done quite a bit of research by visiting web sites of the various manufacturers, and I am reasonably sure that I know what I want as far as total deck length, weight capacity, etc. The problem I am having is that when I personally visit a dealer for the trailers I am interested in, I find out very quickly that I know quite a bit more about the product he is selling than he does. This is becoming very frustrating. Has anyone else encountered the same problem, or is it just me?
