Likewise on the Dem, Rep, Ind - my general feelings on all, not picking on any one side.... Here in Minnesota the Minneapolis school board keeps hiring out of state school superintendents. I guess it's a big sign of prestege to them that someone comes in from out of town to run the school - see we are such big shots! So they keep selecting one, and _then_ negociate a contract. It's become rediculous - they all leave after 2 years, because they negociate such a big severance pay, they can't afford to stay! On top of the rediculous salary they get to begin with. And then the whole thing starts over again. What a joke. The regular teachers & kids suffer, but some big-shot Super is supposed to be so important, must go through this every 2 years. --->Paul
