All three are poor choces. The diesel, especially, is garbage. I've driven Chevy trucks all my life. For your particular needs I'd suggest a '95 or earlier K2500 with a 454 and 4L80E transmission. This will have the NP241 transfer case. This is a bulletproof combination and will tow/haul anything and ask for more. It will also have the 8,600 GVWR and 17,500 lb GCWR weight ratings which get you the 1 ton front and rear axles, better brakes, oil and AT coolers, HD cooling system, etc. Most of these will have the factory tow package which is a Reese Class V hitch and 7 pin connector. I have one, exactly as described above, and would not trade it for 10 of anything else.
