Woods mower question

I have a Woods belly L59 on a Farmall A. The belt broke and I now have a replacement....with a diagram for how to replace it. The mower unit has two pulleys in the rear below the PTO pulley that appear to be out of alignment (not parallel to each other). I am concerned that somehow the bracket holding these two pulleys got bent...but the bracket is pretty heavy duty, I can"t imagine how it would have gotten bent, and the bend looks like it was done at the factory (no flaked paint, etc.) Can anyone verify that these two pulley indeed are supposed to be non-parallel? I want to be sure before I put the new belt on. Thanks!
