Rauville: I presume you are refering to US plowing championships. I have never followed the world or your plowing matches. You may find one champion per class per country. Here in Canada at our national plowing match they have several classes. I don't know them all, but they have catergories like modern, antique, horse plowing, speciality plows like roll over plows, etc. You should take in one national plowing match in your lifetime. It is a learning experience. I wont say it will turn you into an overnight plowing expert. You probably will not see much practical plowing for every day farming. What you will see is just how complex the plow is and all the factors that make it do good plowing.
