Joe, Sometime ago I read an article in the Columbus Dispatch about an Ohio company that would take down a barn and payment would be the timber they took away. They used it to rebuild authentic barns or to sell the valuble, old hard wood (it has a petina unlike new wood). I am sorry that I cannot remember the name of the company, but if you check around you might come across it. Or, if you have the time do a search at the local library for the article. Tim, rural ohio now...and very happy now
