just imagine trying to teach a kid that knows nothing how to do everything on the farm from the age of 15 to 18! without a doubt about half would be planted themselves by the age of 20. i was behind the wheen by the time i was 9 and i still learn something new all the time,a bit of advise i was once told is that the day you no longer learn anything is the day you died. equipment is dangerous,so city folk please keep in mind that you might not like the way it looks,but the only way to learn is practice.
