Dan,I worked at two Ford dealerships during the 1970's.But farm equiptment and everything else has changed so much since then.I would advise you to visit some dealerships in your area.Talk to the owner or the shop foreman /service manager.Tell him what is required of you for your class. If your cordial about it i'll bet he'll have a mechanic or two that will be happy to talk to you.You may have to visit several places to get all the interveiws you need.Be nice, attentive.and inquisitive.Ask all your questions and thank them for their time.Dan use your chance at an education wisely. What you learn or "don't" learn now will affect the rest of your life.Make the very best of this opportunity.I was raised in a broken home and had to leave school and go to work before i graduated. You would not believe the opportunities for good jobs i lost because of lack of education.Only when i got my GED and took Trade school courses did my jobs and income start getting better.Take advantage of everything you can get in way of education. You'll never be sorry that you did.I'm sorry i did'nt mean to give a sermon,i just like for young folks not to make the mistakes that i did.

The first fleet arrived in 1788 and consisted mainly of convicts who were poorly equipped and new little of farming techniques. The colony remained far from self-supporting and it was not until the early 1800's that things started to improve.
