Gary, a friend of mine had the same problem you describe only with a 94 Deisel pickup. The dealer (finally) found out recently that the fuel tank and lines must be flushed out after the first injection pump had failed, or upon replacing a new one, the stuff in the tank from the other bad pump will ruin the new one. Just a friendly note...
