I wish I had some money yesterday. The auction was in central Mississippi. A JD 401 with loader, 3 pt, etc, ran good went for $4000. A JD 1010 gas in good condition and looked good for $1500. A Dexter with everything working but not pretty went for $750. Now get these, A Case 730 narrow front with diesel engine and three point and looked to be new tires on rear and ran fine for $400. A Farmall 450B diesel with wide front and three point. It ran but smoked and had a leak at the rear seal went for %350

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation.
