Stan, I've never had any experince with foam filled tires myself, but have a couple friends that use them. If it's done right, the flex of the tire is the same as with air, and it does not affect road handling. Many places don't want to bother to do it right, and just make them rock hard, rather than taking the time to get the correct pressure.
