Could be wrong abot your dcv, but,hooked up backwards I think you"re working against loadchecks (have to be unseated via pilot press to exhaust oil) and causing all exhausted oil on up and curl through relief valve. That"s probably the sqealing you hear, that or system pleading to be plumbed properly. Better to learn the right way even if it doesn"t make sense to you because every system should be plumbed same. Horiz mounted handles will be handle down= work up and vertical mount will be handle pull= work up. If you get on someone elses equip, you could be embarassed or hurt someone.
