Leland, I agree that those who would censor all except that which they deem appropriate do not necessarily make this a better site. I truly believe that what makes this site one of the best on the internet is that we have one thing that brings us together which is our love of tractors and old iron, That however is not all there is to us. We are real people here conversing with eachother, and we have many ideas and experiences to share which transend way beyond our love of old iron. YOu and I have had our moments, and I have come to the realization that more than a difference in values, it was more misunderstanding of eachothers values. And I respect your willingness to stand up for what you believe is right, as I do everyone elses. Only one person ever had me so angry that I would have loved to reach through cyber space and choke the livin heck out of him, and I think we all know who he is or was. (havent seen ole Ron lately)There has been so much discussion about O.T. topics, yet, to those who carp about them, it is a fact that they do indeed attract interest, which is apparent from all the responses, both positive and negative. As to Allan finding it necessary to apologize for voicing an opinion, if it makes him feel better, fine, but no apology is necessary. i find him quite witty and humerous, and like me, sometimes the smile doesnt project through the computer screen, so it is easy to misinterpret what he may have said in total jest. I have never read anything he has posted that is demeaning even tho he may disagree. YOu nailed it when you say that if those who want to do away with, or censor O.T. discussions, would have to do the same with prayer requests or "How"s your wife" or anything not pertaining to tractors. Gosh, life cant be that boring, can it?
