Machine shop that builds the bottom gives 30 days unlimited miles on the bottom (they assemble it and build the head).

Last 'new' engine I bought didnt have that unless it was installed by a certifed Cummins shop (so I paid them to do it) and it wasnt worth the paper it was written on. Freeze plug blew at less than 200 miles. They charged $1400 to put it back in, said it wasnt covered. I've ranted on this before. They said that freeze plugs werent itemized as a covered part yet if anyone other than their shop pulled the head (it was next to the firewall) it voided the whole thing. Lawyer wanted a $2000 retainer to take the case, was just going to be good money after bad.
