I cant answer your question other than to say I was told to put them on both tires,and I have a set coming now.I am not getting stuck in that mess like we had last year.If you know where Grace is on hwy 221,I sat there for seven hours in the big ice storm.Tractor trailers got jackknifed on each side as I was going through there.When I finally got able to go,I stuck to the backroads and made it home much better!
