I live within 40 mi of where the Kohler plants are. Same as plumbing, but a different plant. Before the 40's the folks had one on our place and as Slorol said they were 1 cy and 32 volts with the gass batteries that they charged and you had to have much heavier wiring because of the low voltage. Anyhow they are still making them in a plant north of Sheboygan and I'm thinking you have a much later genrator. Check the name plate. Bill
